• ESTA congratulates certificate holders for two big ETCP anniversaries:

The 15-year anniversary of the initial Entertainment Electrician exam was October 19th—congratulations to all the certificants who passed the first exam! All those that renew will earn a 15-year pin. 

Cheers to the first class of Portable Power Distribution Technician certificants who celebrated their first renewal July 15th!

• Please use the ETCP Portal to submit your renewal application, log continuing education after you complete continuing education courses, and notify ETCP of any updates (change of address, new email, new photo for ETCP ID, revise your ETCP profile on the website, etc.).

• Spread some holiday cheer with Behind the Scenes holiday cards and decorations.

• Congratulations to the new ETCP Certificate holders, ETCP retirees, and a new ETCP Recognized Trainer. See the list here.

• The “grace period” for late ETCP renewal applications will end soon. If your certification has expired, please submit your recertification application as soon as possible. If you are short continuing education credits, still submit quickly, and note you are working on getting these credits caught up. Submit your education credits when earned through the ETCP Portal.

• ETCP continues to offer the payment deferral for recertifying applicants that are out of work. If you have not submitted your recertification application because you are unable to pay at this time due to the pandemic, but want to continue your certification, please send in your renewal application and note on your form you are requesting to defer your payment. Your status on the ETCP website will not be updated until your payment is received, but there won’t be any penalties for deferring.
