INFO: iWeiss Theatrical Solutions, a leading integrator of rigging – manual and automated to a wide range of venues, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. Our projects range from short term retrofits to multiyear large scale automated installations in new construction and restoration.
The successful candidate will be charged with seeing multiple projects from estimation/quoting through final job completion. This includes oversight of submittal drawings, creating project schedules, purchasing materials, resolving site issues, and oversight of installation personnel.
Most projects are construction site based where coordination with all trade contractors, architects, and consultants is a must. This person will work closely with outside vendors, in-house staff, and clients with the goal of seeing that work is integrated, well managed, tracked, on time and on budget. All project managers must maintain the high standard of workmanship and customer service that iWeiss has created and maintained over many years.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong theatrical rigging and construction experience is a must
- Ability to manage time and multiple projects efficiently
- Attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind
- Overall management of the job site through an iWeiss foreman
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & AutoCAD a must
- ETCP Rigging Certification is a plus
- Travel Required

INFO: iWeiss, a company specializing in stage rigging, automation, and drapery for the theatre and custom projects for the entertainment industry located in Fairview, NJ (11 miles from NCYC) is seeking a qualified technical designer having a familiarity with building construction and intimate knowledge of the theatre.
Qualified individuals should be responsible, have a strong attention to detail, great problem solving abilities, and exceptional visualization skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are a must. Inventor and Adobe skills are preferred but not a requirement.
This position is responsible for the following:
- Creation of production drawings from initial sketches and formal submittals to As Built packages
- Design of rigging elements and system components
- Driving solution-based conversations for projects and iWeiss products
- Collaboration with Technical CAD staff to manage CAD library and standard practices
- Travel for Project Surveys
- Management of department’s schedule of deliverables
- Interface w/ various departments (project managers, fabrication, field staff, engineers, and clients)
