| ETCP Certifiable News: Summer 2021 |
Due to the pandemic and industry shutdown, the ETCP Council extended the deadline of all 2020 and first half of 2021 renewals. However, this “grace period” is anticipated to come to a close soon following the ETCP Council meeting the first week of August, as the industry starts returning to work. If you have not submitted your recertification application, please send your renewal materials as soon as you possibly can, and we will begin the vetting process to get your certification up to date.
The renewal form can be found at this link: ETCP Information Portal.
To speed the process, for the continuing education courses you attended, if you received a wallet card and/or certificate of completion, please scan these and attach them to your recertification application through the portal. Please be sure to include contact information and email addresses for organizers of all your continuing education.
It’s important to include your employer/contractor supervisor’s name and email address (spelled correctly) for vetting your work history. (You cannot be listed as your own supervisor and verify your work hours—we need this information confirmed in writing by a third party representative of the company.)
If you are missing continuing education credits, still submit your renewal form and note you are working on getting them cleared up.
There are lots of online classes available that offer ETCP renewal credits to complete the minimum of 10 renewal credits. Here is a link to training: Training for ETCP Renewal Credits. If you click on a training provider’s logo, you will be taken to their current course offerings. More training information can be found here: Training Opportunities and some of these courses are free.
