ETCP Theatre – Rigging Exam is Being Updated

Currently, ETCP Theatre – Rigging volunteer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), appointed by the ETCP Council, are meeting virtually through July and August to review the content areas that are represented on the examination and to update the exam questions. This is an intense process that takes place about every three years with the SMEs being guided by PSI, ETCP’s psychometricians (measurement scientists), professionals in the design, development, and administration of licensing and certification examinations.

It is vital to ETCP that both the development process and the examinations themselves are professionally sound and legally defensible.

We are grateful for the work of the ETCP Theatre – Rigging SMEs. The updated exam will be in place by the end of 2021.
